A professional and loving family in Frankston South, Melbourne are looking for an organised and nurturing nanny to care for two happy and creative girls, aged 8 & 6.
The role will consist of caring for the girls, getting the girls ready for school, preparing breakfast and school lunches, school pick up, cooking/prepping meals, assist with homework (tutoring ideal but not essential), helping out with the evening routine, folding girls laundry and putting away, occasional grocery shopping and overall contributing to the smooth running of the household.
The family have a pet dog so the nanny must be comfortable with pets
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows-
- Caring for the children
- Follow children’s routines/schedules
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and evening meals
- Pick children up from school
- Assist with homework
- Assist with some light household duties, pack/unpack dishwasher and folding family laundry
- Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 Months
Pay: From $35 per hour – depending on experience
NOTE: Nanny must have licence, car and clean driving record
KM’s and petrol to be reimbursed
The days and normal hours are:- 3 days – 15 hours
Wednesday 7am – 9am & 3.30pm – 6.30pm/7.00pm
Thursday 7am – 9am & 3.30pm – 6.30pm/7.00pm
Friday 7am – 9am & 3.30pm – 6.30pm/7.00pm
Additional hours offered during school holidays
The family’s expectations from their nanny are-
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
- Childcare qualifications
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Honest and reliable
- Non smoking
- Up to date with all vaccinations (including covid19)
