A loving family in Maroubra are seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their happy and social 12 month old girl.
A nanny who enjoys getting outdoors and be able to plan and play age appropriate activities. The nanny will need to follow the baby’s routine and assist with the running of the household.
Experience working with babies is essential for this role.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the baby
- Follow the baby’s routine
- Play and engage the baby in age appropriate activities to assist in the baby’s development
- Take to activities (e.g. Gymbaroo)
- Preparation of meals and snacks for the baby
- Cook for the family (if time permits)
- Outdoor play/walks to the park, playground, beach
- Assist with some light household duties (e.g. laundry / dishwasher)
- Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy
Start Date: Late September, 2023
Contract Length: 3+ months – potential to extend
Pay: Around $35 per hour – depending on experience
The days and normal hours are:- 2 days – 16 hours per week
Monday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3 years experience as a nanny or working in childcare
- Childcare qualification (not essential)
- Experience working with babies
- Russian speaking would be ideal but not essential
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Current NSW Drivers Licence and clean driving record
- To be healthy and active

- Honest and Reliable
- Up to date with all vaccinations (including covid-19)
- Non smoking/vaping
