A fun loving and busy family in Kellyville are seeking a gentle and nurturing nanny to care for their two girls aged 1 and 3 years.
A nanny that is experienced and genuinely interested in engaging and having fun with the children and providing stimulating and creative indoor and outdoor activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.
The family are looking for a nanny who is reliable, trustworthy and can form a lovely bond with their family, support Mum with the two older girls while she cares for her newborn baby and help run the household.
Prior experience with these different age groups and caring for multiple children at once is highly advantageous for this role.
At least one parent will be at home.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routines
- Play and engage in age appropriate creative activities and outings to assist in the children’s development
- Light household duties: folding/putting away clothes, vacuuming, and tidying
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 6 months initially with the potential to extend long term
Pay: From $35 – $40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are:- 3 days – 24 hours per week
Monday – 8am – 5pm
Tuesday – 8am – 5pm
Friday – 8am – 2pm (flexible finish time for right candidate on this day)
* Some flexibility for additional hours as required would be beneficial.
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 2+ years’ experience as a nanny or working in childcare
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Be fit, healthy, and active
- Non-smoking
- Able to prepare and cook basic healthy meals
