A kind and loving family in North Strathfield are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to care for their happy and content twins, aged 21 months.
Monday – Thursday – 2pm – 6pm
An ideal nanny would be experienced, friendly and respectful. A nanny that is open to engaging and having fun with the children, spending time outdoors and providing stimulating and creative activities.
A nanny that is reliable and honest and can follow routines. Experience working with twins is advantageous for this role.
The role will consist of mostly caring for the twins. Additionally, some light household duties, cooking for the family, picking the twins up from day care, evening routines (bath, dinner & getting the children ready for bed) family laundry (if time allows) and contributing to the smooth running of the household.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the twins
- Follow afternoon/evening routines
- Play and engage age appropriate creative activities to assist in the children’s development
- Day care pick up (short walk or can drive family car)
- Preparation of meals and snacks for the children
- Cooking of family meals
- Outdoor play
- Assist with some light household duties
- Family laundry
- Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy
Start date: Mid January, 2024
Contract length: 12 Months
Pay: $40 Per Hour
The days and normal hours are:- 4 days – 16 hours
Monday – Thursday – 2pm – 6pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3 years experience as a nanny or working in childcare
- Experience working with twins preferred but not essential
- Toddler experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English.
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Must be able to swim
- Non smoking/vaping
- Automatic Drivers Licence
